Peter especially likes to make personal contact with seniors after an event and talk with them about their event experience.

Seniors are a very important group of people in our Society. They were the ones who shaped our country, fought for our freedom and gave us our Canadian Culture. They are our heritage and they deserve our respect.
As a part of Music Grams, Peter likes to entertain seniors and celebrate their lives by giving back. Music is what feelings sound like, the song of the soul, and that which triggers positive emotions and uplifts the spirit.
A Music Gram performance consists of setting up a prearranged one hour musical concert with Peter's Solo Act called "Music Grams featuring Peter Paulus" on guitar and vocals. He will sing songs from the music play list and encourage the audience to participate. For instance, with the song Delilah, (Tom Jones) he would invite everyone to join in the chorus. Moreover, in the song “You Are My Sunshine” he would encourage individuals to sing along, dance and clap.

Most of the songs are well known hits that many will recognize. Peter loves to provide a special song at the end of the performance and have everyone participate in a sing –a-long. He would lead the group to sing with him.
For special birthdays or anniversaries, Peter would work the appropriate tribute song into the performance and acknowledge the special guest(s) with an arousing "Happy Birthday Song" and a spectacular welcome.

Theme Events For Seniors

Country Music Theme Event
.
Peter and his musician friend, Dan can put on a special seniors Country and Western music event with a duo called "Country Boys". Currently in their library, they have 50 favorite hits by famous country artists such as Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers, George Strait, Meryl Haggard, just to name a few. This event wouldn't be complete without western duds and the boys will be dressed accordingly.

Hawaiian Theme Event
A trip to Hawaii is always fun and refreshing. It washes our spirits and fills our hearts with echos of music from artists like Don Ho, Elvis, Jimmy Buffett and Beach Boy surfing songs, and inspires our imagination with memories of romance and longing for that tradtitional luau by the beach. Peter and friends called "The Hawaiian Boys", dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire, will serenade you with famous songs like Blue Hawaii, Pearly Shells, Hula Love, and Tiny Bubbles. This theme lends itself well to casual summer days on the patio enjoying barbecues, summer evening dance parties or warm outdoor picnics in the garden.

Oktoberfest Theme Event
Oktoberfest celebrations is another popular theme to explore and Peter can make it fun by dressing in full German cultural dress and sing familiar tunes of the past in both German and English.
Peter played Oktoberfest music as he was growing up in Vancouver and first learned to play German Music on the accordion. An Oktoberfest event lends itself well to good traditional food to add to the excitement of "The Chicken Dance and favorite beer drinking songs made famous in the Oktoberfest Capital of Munich. Singing favorite songs like Edelweiss, Wooden Heart and The Happy Wanderer brings everyone up in spirit to embace the moment and put a smile on their face!

Christmas Theme Event
.
.Another beautiful time of year is Christmas and along with that comes all the trimmings like turkey dinner, special sweets and a visit from Santa! If her schedule permits, Mrs. Claus (Peter's partner, Lana) will join Santa and together will lead the group in favorite Christmas songs like Jingle Bells, Rockin Around The Christmas Tree, White Christmas, Oh Christmas Tree and Deck The Halls just to name a few. Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be dressed for this special occasion.
