Entertainment

I entertained for the Seniors Mardi Gras celebration and the turn out was excellent. I had about 30 seniors with masks and beads singing and clapping hands, when a couple gals got up to shake to " The Last Dance"  It was exhilarating and very rewarding to see these folks enjoying themselves so much.

After the event, I spoke with a lovely gal all dressed to the nines, wearing a bright red dress, pearls and a beautiful red rose in her hair. She sings in the seniors' choir and entertains for many care homes herself. She Said that she really enjoyed the songs that I had chosen and that they sing many of the same popular tunes in her group. Next, I spoke with an older gentelmen and we reminisced about past musical moments together, when he turned to me and said, "you know, when you sang the "Tennessee Waltz" it reminded me of my sweetheart because that was our wedding song."
